All About the Multipass Bag

The Louis Vuitton Multipass is a relaxed, slouchy handbag designed for everyday use. Inspired by the Express bag from the Fall-Winter 2025 collection, it combines a modern hobo shape with classic Louis Vuitton details.

Size

Size & Capacity Dimensions: 30 x 26 x 10 cm (11.8 × 10.2 × 3.9 inches)
Strap Drop: 43.0 cm (16.9 inches), extending to a maximum of 51.0 cm (20.1 inches).

Material

It comes in the classic Monogram canvas ($2,850), as well as leather versions in Arizona brown, white, black and Petal Pink ($3,350).

Strap options

The Multipass comes with three carrying options:

  • A short leather handle
  • A chain strap
  • A longer adjustable crossbody strap

This means it can be carried by hand, worn on the shoulder or styled crossbody. The different straps also make it easy to dress the bag up or down.

What fits inside

It can fit a full-size wallet and an 11-inch tablet.

There are no interior pockets, so a lightweight bag organiser may be useful. However, a structured insert could reduce the bag’s natural slouch.

When to wear the Multipass

The Multipass works well as an everyday bag for commuting, shopping, travelling or casual lunches. The leather handle and chain strap give it a more polished look, while the longer strap makes it practical for busy days when you want to wear it crossbody.

My verdict: 9/10

The Multipass feels like a bag you would genuinely use regularly. It is a practical size, works for different occasions and can easily be dressed up or down.

The bag has enough depth that you do not have to worry too much about whether your essentials will fit, but it is not so bulky that it loses its feminine shape.

For a more casual, practical crossbody look, you can also buy one of Louis Vuitton’s thicker straps separately. My only slight concern is that the chain may feel heavy or tarnish over time, although not a major issue I guess. You can simply use the leather strap if you don’t like the chain.

Overall, I really like its flexibility and think it is one of those bags that would get plenty of use.
