Louis Vuitton has a strong line-up of perfumes for warmer weather. Here are some of the best options for summer.
1. Afternoon Swim
If I had to choose the most obvious Louis Vuitton summer fragrance, it would probably be Afternoon Swim.
Originally introduced in 2019 as part of Louis Vuitton’s Cologne Perfumes collection, Afternoon Swim is essentially summer distilled into a bottle. The main notes are orange, bergamot and ginger, and the fragrance is built around an extremely bright, juicy citrus opening. Louis Vuitton itself describes the inspiration as the feeling of waves washing over your skin on a hot summer day.
It is easy to understand why this one comes up so often when people discuss Louis Vuitton fragrances for summer. The orange is the star: fresh, slightly sweet and almost like peeling a ripe orange rather than smelling a conventional perfume.

The inspiration is again very Californian. Pacific Chill is intended to evoke the feeling of the ocean and the restorative quality of spending time outdoors on the West Coast.

5. On the Beach
The name makes this one fairly self-explanatory.
On the Beach was created around yuzu, neroli and cypress, with Louis Vuitton describing it as an interpretation of the sun, sea and warm sand of a day spent at the beach.
The yuzu gives it a sharp citrus freshness, while neroli softens the fragrance and cypress adds a slightly woody quality. Compared with the juicy orange of Afternoon Swim, this feels drier and somewhat more aromatic.
It is probably one of the most literal summer fragrances in the Louis Vuitton collection, and a good option if you like citrus but do not necessarily want to smell strongly of orange.
