Louis Vuitton Ski Collection 2024

If you like Louis Vuitton, you’ve probably had your eye on this year’s Ski Collection. From a fluffy bumbag and a metallic Alma to a Monogram-patterned puffer jacket, Louis Vuitton never fails to impress with vibrant seasonal designs, and this Christmas season is no exception. Let’s take a look at some of my favorite picks from this year’s Louis Vuitton Ski Collection — I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I enjoyed writing it!

Bags

I have to start with the iconic “Teddy/Shearling/Fleece Bumbag,” also known as the “Cozygram Bumbag,” from this year’s collection. The Teddy Bumbag has become one of the most iconic and eye-catching pieces from recent winter collections. Crafted with ultra-soft fleece on the exterior, it features a bold black LV logo that adds a striking touch. The strap, made of brown leather, complements the cozy design beautifully. Like other Louis Vuitton bumbags, it strikes a perfect balance between casual comfort and refined elegance, making it a cherished piece for many Louis Vuitton lovers.

This year, Louis Vuitton introduced a bumbag with a black or dark brown background and a white LV logo (described as “chocolate and cream” on their website). At first glance, it appears black, but if you take a closer look, the bag has a deep, rich brown tone. Unlike the previous model, which featured a predominantly white fleece, this year’s darker design is significantly more practical. Its dark tones make it more resistant to dirt, making it an ideal choice for outdoor use. For fans of designer bags, this improved functionality and versatility are sure to make it a popular alternative to last year’s lighter version.

They also released a bag in the same theme with the Speedy 25, and it’s undeniably another adorable piece that draws attention. As one of the fan favourites, the Speedy 25 maintains its iconic versatility, even in this cozy fleece version, making it a must-have for Louis Vuitton fans.

The new metallic bag series is a notable addition to this year’s winter collection, offering a wide range of styles, including the Coussin, Loop, coin purse, Speedy, Alma, and Keepall. The Coussin, with its soft, pillow-like lambskin design, stands out in the Ski Collection with its white leather and glittering Monogram print finish.

The other bags in the series feature “Monogram Mirror Canvas,” a metallic material used across all elements of the design, including the body, strap, handles, and name tag. This series draws inspiration from the Y2K era, bringing back the look of metallic bags that were popular with celebrities in the 2000s, while introducing a modern twist. This year, Louis Vuitton reissued its 2006 Mirror collection, reintroducing some of the most iconic bags in metallic materials.

Clothes

If you’ve never purchased designer clothing before and are concerned about the price, I think winter items like jackets are a smart place to start. They tend to be more durable than summer pieces like T-shirts, and their styles don’t go out of fashion as quickly. This year, Louis Vuitton offers some great options that could make for your very first non-bag purchase. Take a look!

A puffer jacket is arguably the most essential winter item. As the outermost layer, it’s the part of your outfit that gets noticed the most, making it a “cost-effective” investment. Louis Vuitton’s puffer jackets this year are incredibly versatile—available in neutral black and white tones, they pair seamlessly with almost any wardrobe color palette. The Diamond Ripstop Puffer Jacket, for instance, features a charming Monogram-patterned zipper pull and a modern LV flower motif, combining practicality with understated elegance. The White Monogram Puffer Jacket may seem like a simple white puffer at first glance, but it features an all-over Monogram print that adds a subtle yet luxurious touch.

While the price—ranging from £3,000 to £4,000—is significantly higher than most puffer jackets, it can be seen as a long-term investment. Given its timeless design and durability, it’s a piece you can wear for years. As I mentioned earlier, the “cost-per-wear” becomes quite reasonable, especially since it’s a versatile jacket you’ll likely rely on throughout the entire winter season.

If you look for more affordable options, you can go for either gilet or dress. Monogram Teddy Puplum Gilet is considerably more affordable than puffer If you’re looking for more affordable options, you might consider a gilet or a dress. The Monogram Teddy Peplum Gilet, priced at £1,749, is considerably more budget-friendly compared to the puffer jackets. It features a zip closure and adjustable drawstrings on the hood and waist, allowing you to create a peplum silhouette. This piece is versatile enough to be worn from autumn through to spring.

For a more elegant look, the Graphic Accent Fitted Dress is a great option at £1,740. Made from high-quality synthetic materials, this dress can be worn throughout most of the year. It has a stand collar and a zip closure, offering a balance between casual and refined. You can easily dress it up for a restaurant outing, achieving an “effortless” style with minimal effort.

The Winter Bloom Mohair Jumper also caught my eye with its charming pink flower pattern, which has a nostalgic, almost “granny’s jumper” feel, but with a much cooler twist. The cropped fit and the small Monogram canvas tab on the left sleeve give it a modern, stylish edge, making it a unique and fashionable choice for the winter season. It’s a perfect blend of vintage-inspired design and contemporary flair.

Accessories

This year’s Louis Vuitton Ski collection includes some interesting pieces, including boots. The Aspen Ankle Boots are particularly cute—they have an “UGG”-like design but feature soft shearling material on the outside. The boots also have a prominent logo on the ankle, giving them a playful yet stylish touch. Available in two colours, camel and “Marron Fonce” (a deep, dark brown), they offer a cozy yet fashionable option for winter.

The Monogram Shearling Scarf is probably my favorite piece from all the items I’ve introduced today. It comes in versatile beige and camel, both of which are easy to incorporate into any winter wardrobe. Shearling scarves are definitely something I recommend to anyone looking to elevate their winter look—they’re not just neck warmers. Unlike a traditional stole, a short shearling scarf with a hole to wrap around your neck adds instant sophistication, thanks to the fluffy texture that frames your face. These scarves are great for making a stylish impression and are particularly striking if you’re a fan of designer brands, as the large logo catches attention. Plus, they’re not as expensive as jackets—this year’s scarf is priced at £855—making it a smart investment that you can enjoy for years to come.

Overall, I think this year’s Louis Vuitton Ski collection is very interesting. From the cozy Teddy bumbag to the metallic bags and standout outerwear like the puffer jackets, there’s a clear effort to merge contemporary trends with timeless design. As for a favourite, the Monogram Shearling Scarf definitely caught my attention—it’s versatile, elegant, and a great way to elevate any winter outfit while staying warm.
