On September 14th, the 77th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards took place, and Selena Gomez appeared in a magnificent red Louis Vuitton gown. Vogue, ELLE, and other fashion media covered the event, where she was accompanied by her fiancé, Benny Blanco. The gown was custom-made by Louis Vuitton for Gomez, featuring a halter design with a high neckline that extended into a sweeping train, and she paired it with Santoni heels and Tiffany & Co. jewelry.

“Red just works for Selena,” Catherine Kallon wrote on Red Carpet Fashion Awards. “What I love most about this gown is its quiet confidence. There’s nothing over-styled about it – the asymmetric halter drape and subtle train whisper elegance. And honestly, that restraint makes the impact even bigger.”
Gomez attended the ceremony to support her show Only Murders in the Building, which was nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series. Later in the evening, she changed into a second Louis Vuitton creation for an after-party – a baby blue dress with a draped drop-back and plunging neckline – and posed barefoot in front of a surprise romantic setup arranged by Blanco at home.
Selena has long been a Louis Vuitton muse. She became a Louis Vuitton campaign star in 2016, holding one of the brand’s signature trunk bags, and has since worn many Louis Vuitton pieces, including a bow-adorned black dress for a movie press event.
